Pseudonym of Salvatore Benintende, he was born in Palermo in 1980 but soon moved to Milan where he completed his studies. His first graffiti works date back to 1996 under the pseudonym “Crasto”. After a study experience in Bilbao, he took part in an exhibition at the Faculty of Design in Milan, where the character of “Tvboy” first appeared, which was to become his trademark and then his new artistic name. In the following years his works – mainly paste-ups and stickers – spread throughout the main Italian cities and then internationally. Since 2005 he has lived in Barcelona where he has opened his own studio. A representative of the Italian NeoPop movement, he is now recognised all over the world, so much so that he has been called “the Italian Banksy”.
