FROM REALITY TO ART

On October 27, 1960, the artistic movement, the Nouveau Réalisme was officially born.

At the peak of gestural, material and abstract art, the New Realists invited us to look at the reality with a new perspective, invoking a return to reality through the use of objects of common use such as the products of the industry, especially waste and all other items rejected by the mass consumer society.

In this selection, you can find some of the most important names that have been part of this movement: Arman, Christo, Tinguely, Spoerri and Niki de Saint Phalle.
