ARTISTIC-EDUCATIONAL WORKSHOPS
IN COLLABORATION WITH “IL MUSEO IN ERBA”
Artrust Lab together with Museo in Erba organize series of workshops in occasion of Artrust exhibition dedicated to Niki de Saint Phalle and Jean Tinguely “Duo. Anime ribelli, spiriti gemelli. Destini intrecciati nell’arte”, from 18th October to 18th December 2015.
The workshops will take place in the room at the ground floor of ex Town Hall of Melano, in via alla Chiesa 16.
OUR ATELIER (ONE ACTIVITY TO CHOOSE)
“THE FANTASTIC GARDEN”
A work designed to engage the group for the creation of a fairytale garden.
First, children will paint a garden with natural elements on a large sheet. Then, they will draw fanciful and brightly colored sculptures (inspired by the works of Niki de Saint Phalle at in the exhibition), and will decide where to place those sculptures.
Techinques: painting, collage, composition.
“NANA”
An imaginative laboratory to build personal interpretation of the sculptures of Niki, by realizing colorful Nana in three dimensions. An approach that is suitable for children to understand the relationship between form and space.
Techniques: assembling materials, pastels.
“META GEARS”
Wheels, rollers, gears. We will start from a blank sheet of paper on which drops of colors are placed: some rolling balls will become the “tool” to create a colorful background. Afterwards, children will color and cut out the wheels to place them inside the paper with clips (this element will create the movement). Finally, with crayons they will draw the lines of the gears
Techniques: collage, painting, small balls.
PRIVATES
Workshops are dedicated to children aged from 3 to 10.
It will last about 1 hour and will take place on the following dates:
- Wednesday, October 28 from 15.30
- Saturday, October 31 from 11.00
- Wednesday, November 4 from 15.30
- Saturday, November 14 from 11.00
- Wednesday, December 9 from 15.30
- Saturday, December 12 from 11.00
The max. number is 12. And the min. 6.
The price per child is 20.– CHF
It is possible to book both the visit and workshop (more details) for 30.– CHF.
SCHOOLS
Workshops for schools will take place on Monday and Friday. Contact us to choose the date.
Workshops for schools will last about 1 hour.
The cost for each class is 100.– CHF.

IN COLLABORATION WITH
A museum created for special visitors: children. A space to surprise, amaze, educate them and take them closer to the culture through an original pedagogy based on games to stimulate sensitivity, curiosity and creativity. Museo in Erba prepares young visitors to the visit of great famous museums worldwide. Observation, identification and imagination games will be used to discover art…by playing!
