FRANÇOIS GALL
In conjunction with the exhibition dedicated to François Gall “Parigi, la famiglia, la natura. Con gli occhi di un padre”, from 18th April to 24th May in Melano, Artrust organizes children workshops for privates and schools. Conceived for children aged from 3 to 10 years, Artrust educational workshops represent an original way to get them closer to the art world, through plays and interactions.
The main themes of François Gall’s works and biography will be the workshops’ focus. The love for Paris, the deep bond with his family, the passion for music and piano, his impressionistic vision of the light and the reality will be the cues of a ludic and educational tour with activities that stimulate creativity and learning.
THE COURSE
SIGHTSEEING PARIS
Starting from a map of Paris and the places represented by Gall’s exhibited works, children will discover the most important monuments. In a second phase they will compose a puzzle of a Gall’s work representing Paris, through a matching game between figures and French words.
MY FAMILY AND ME
Family, essential theme of life and Gall’s artistic production will be the focus of a series of activities. The older children have to solve a crossword, while the younger ones will draw or paste on paper their own family members within a domestic setting.
TO THE TUNES OF THE PIANO
Music was one of Gall’s greatest passions and, the piano, his wife and children’s favorite instrument. That is why we have created some activities using the piano to play and learn the seven notes.

IMPRESSIONIST LIGHTS
Impressionist painters are known for their ability to catch light at any time of the day and in different seasons. In the same way, children will be asked to color a picture of a Gall’s work by using different shades to create the effect of morning, evening, summer and winter lights.
