Description
Silver 875 zierdose forged in Moscow by master silversmith Pavel Ovchinnikov. The hallmarks allow us to date the jewel to the years between 1908 and 1913. The outer surface presents cloisonné decorations that represent floral motifs and a swan. The subjects are enclosed within curved lines and are garnished with a range of enamel colors ranging from blue to red. The egg opens into two parts by unscrewing it. Inside has a silver gilt surface.
