Robert Combas (1957)
French painter and sculptor, he is recognized as being an originator of the Figuration Libre movement. He used to represent the human being, penit in a colorful way, sometimes even violent.
Bernard Ceysson, director of the Museum Ste-Etienne, recognized elements of Transavantgard and Nouveaux Fauves, re-worked in a brand new way for the French artistic panorama.
