Son of a Peruvian migrant and a Puerto Rican mother, he is among the best-known writers in the Bronx. He starts to tag with the pseudonym “King 13” around 1970. He learns how to perform graffiti on trains in the crew “The Bronx Enchanters”. Later he becomes the leader of the TNB (The Nasty Boyz), one of the most renowned crews in New York.
