Rebor (1996 – )
Pseudonym of Marco Abrate, he was born in Savigliano (CN) in 1996. A graduate of the Accademia Albertina in Turin, his works reveal the traits of an original evolution of Street Art, centred on the need to take a stand on the cultural, social and political situation. Using different techniques – from painting to sculpture, from installation to performance – Rebor underlines the degradation and defaillances of our time, but at the same time poses questions that activate positive intentions with regard to creative vitality, reiterating the need for it to become a starting point for free and conscious choices, a glimmer of a view of tomorrow full of optimism. He lives in Pinerolo (TO) and works between Turin and Milan.
