Aymone Poletti (1978 – )
Aymone Poletti was born in Sorengo (Lugano) in 1978 and has been exhibiting professionally since 2000. She studied in Mendrisio where she graduated from the Academy of Architecture, the same place as by the architects Aurelio Galfetti, Alfredo Pini and Peter Zumthor. During the same period, she took part in the art classes held by Harald Szeemann and those of design by Antonio Citterio and Bruno Monguzzi. She won several selections, on the occasion of exhibitions dedicated to young artists, as well as a scholarship from the city of Lugano. Active member of Visarte, in the first half of 2015, she was artist in residence at the Cité internationale des Arts in Paris and attended the Académie de la Grande Chaumière. Recently, in collaboration with Artrust, she has exhibited in Venice as part of the VAP (Venice Art Projects). Her works can be found in both public and private collections, in Switzerland and abroad.
