Description

Small-medium sized Weinprobierschale (wine taster) with a typical oval shape. The piece is divided into eight parts adorned with plant decorations. On the bottom there is a swan embossed and framed in an oval with beads. On the sides, there are two handles with volutes. The date of the piece puts the terminus ante quem in 1680, the year of death of the master silversmith Balthasar Haydt, who realized it.
