BLUB
Blub started his activity in the summer of 2013 in Cadaqués in Catalonia, a fishing village particularly loved also by Dalì. In November 2013, he paid homage to the Florentine district of San Niccolò on the anniversary of the flood and since then he has begun to portray the most famous icons with diving mask, from Botticelli’s Venus to Andy Warhol, from Giuseppe Verdi to David Bowie , from Leonardo da Vinci to Marcello Mastroianni. Blub with his hashtag #Lartesanuotare has become very famous on Instagram, but nobody knows his identity. We only know that he is Tuscan and he started the city raids in 2013 in Florence, and following spread to the main Italian cities from north to south, showing a particular preference for small art centers: from San Gimignano to Monteriggioni, from Pavia to Cremona , from Lecce to Alghero.
